Conquering myself

Across the vastness,
Of this claustrophobic grotto,
Death plays a vivid tune,
Calling me, tempting me,
To meet His heir, at the break of dawn;
Whence doom shall wait, to sear my scarred heart
To the rhythm of my faint hope,
A desperate boy's cry,
Lunging for the depths of the ever so
Overwhelming vicinity of darkness and isolation,
That never did more than absorbing me in,
Engulfing my presence,
Doing what it does best:
Taking away anything and everything
I could ever wish to possess.

I am once again drowning,
In my nightmares others call dream,
Just another moment of hopelessness in my hopeless world of me
